Whole Lot To Love: Meet A 44-Pound Cat

'Princess Chunk' Awaiting Owner At Camden, N.J. Shelter

BLACKWOOD, N.J. (CBS) ― Here kitty kitty … very large kitty.

It's not every day someone loses a 44-pound cat.

The owner has until Saturday to reclaim her before the kitty is eligible for adoption.

The cat was found outside, without a collar, in Voorhees, N.J.

Officials at the Camden County Animal Shelter are calling her "Princess Chunk."

Shelter volunteer Deborah Wright tells The Courier-Post of Cherry Hill "Chunk" is built like a quarterback.

The largest tabby on record weighed 46 pounds, 15 ounces. That cat, who lived in Australia, died in the 1980s.
